Please help me raise money for the Dogs’ Homes of Tasmania Winter Appeal.
I’ve been a volunteer dog walker at the Hobart home for two and a half years and have seen first-hand the tireless work that is put into caring for dogs in their care.
This fundraiser will help them undertake much-needed repairs to the kennels which house the dogs, as well as support the ongoing costs of vet care. Just last week I walked the beautiful, gentle old girl Priscilla who came into the Northern homes as a stray with a growth on her eye which meant it would need to be removed. She is now safely in the care of the Hobart home and has adapted so quickly to one-eyed life. I am looking every day to see if she has found her forever home yet.
Pictured on my fundraising page is my gorgeous boy Rory, who I adopted from the Dogs Home just over two years ago. Rory spent three months in the care of the Home and I am so grateful they were there to take care of him. Thanks to the Dogs Home I have my best friend. His favourite place is Kingston Beach, and his very very favourite thing is to bound into the surf chasing a rubber ball his dad has hurled into the big blue.
Your donation will go towards repairs not only in the Hobart home, but also Burnie, Devonport, and Launceston, and will keep the dogs in their care safe, healthy, and happy. ❤️
