She’s an American Staffy who weighs 21.5kg and will be one year old in June. She’s in foster care where the word is that she walks well on a lead and enjoys meeting people, although she can be a little “jumpy” — training will help get that playful teenage urge under control. She’s not fully toilet trained yet. A beginner training course would be ideal for her.
“Abby enjoys the car — she doesn’t want to leave,” staff say. “She’s not destructive but she may chew tissues.” Oh, Abby. “She likes tug toys and enjoys zoomies.” She’s friendly with other dogs but we recommend a buddy of a similar size, energy levels, and play style. She’s not suitable for a home with young children.

• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
