Oska is showing off the internationally renowned “Staffy smile”.
He’s an American Staffy who turned eight years old in December and weighs 37kg. We’re told he knows sit, bed and “paw” (as in shake), comes when called, and is toilet trained.
“Like a typical Staffy, Oska loves attention and likes to make lots of sooky noises,” staff say. “He loves squeaky toys, especially balls, enjoys fetch, likes back scratches, and is very gentle taking treats.”
Oska shares a trait with another global figure, that international man of mystery, Austin Powers. He’s shagalicious, baby! He will need training to help him resist his amorous urges, but we recommend a home with older children who can easily repel his advances. We’re told he is good with other dogs but is not at all a fan of cats.
Oska recently had his teeth cleaned and some removed, along with skin tag removal, so he’s looking good to head into his new home.

Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
