Phoenix

Phoenix

Phoenix has risen from the ashes of his mythical bird body and decided on life as a devoted dog this time around.

He’s a Rottweiler-Kelpie x. His previous owner said he’s toilet trained but can be prone to the excitable widdles when he sees one of his favourite humans. Bless! Training should help sort him out.

“Phoenix is a lovely, affectionate, active boy,” staff say. “He is super switched on and has a good sit and drop. He also gets super excited for treats.” This bodes well for his future training needs.

Phoenix would benefit from a beginner obedience course. His combination of brains and food motivation means he’s the perfect candidate for reward-based training. It would also be a great way for him to bond with his new family.

Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
