Ryder

Ryder has trotted into our Hobart Home and would like a family to take him galloping away into the sunset.

He’s a 15-month-old, 22kg Hound who attended puppy school and has a great training foundation. Ryder is smart and eager to learn. He knows sit, stay, lie down, wait and shake, and is fully toilet trained.

Ryder is always ready for an adventure and would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise, playtime and attention. This athletic and agile boy loves to run, explore and play.

His favourite thing in the world is water. Whether it’s a dam, the beach or his own paddle pool, Ryder is happiest when he’s splashing around. He also enjoys playing with other dogs and would love a home where he can have canine friends to romp around with. He’s not suitable for a home with cats.

• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
