Bailey’s life is filled with sunshine, balls, beaches and bike rides but that wasn’t always the case.

Bailey arrived at the Dogs’ Home earlier in the year but as a 7 month old Kelpie he wasn’t coping too well and began feeling frustrated and unsettled. Foster care was the perfect supportive environment that he needed and that’s how he met foster carer Charlotte.

Being in a loving home environment helped Bailey become the dog Charlotte knew he could always be. So a “Foster Fail” – in the best sense of the word – he became and Charlotte became his forever Mum!

A recent family move to the sunshine coast has given Bailey a lifetime of sunny days, beachs, lots of walks and bike rides. But Charlotte says for all his high energy and ball chasing he is also a total snuggle bug who just loves a cuddle!

Bailey has also learnt to swim and now understands a few words and their meaning. Charlotte admits she sometimes thinks he is smarter than her with his clever antics! One thing’s for sure they both know the meaning of the word love!
