Please follow all requirements of the Office of Racing Integrity. All greyhounds are to have had their last race 28 days prior to entering a rehoming program. During this time your dog should be desexed and have all vaccinations and worming up to date.
To help your dog transition smoothly to home life, please spend time helping them adjust to life off the track and prepare for a home environment. Greyhound Racing New South Wales has a great booklet containing useful information on areas such as getting used to stairs, home life, noises, kids and other animals. Follow this link to download a copy.
Please contact your nearest Dogs’ Home to see if they have space available to take your dog. If space isn’t immediately available, we will take your details and call when a spot becomes available.
On intake we ask that you supply the dog’s racing name and ear tattoo information.
