Belle

Belle

Belle is doing such a ladylike trot in her picture she really does look like the belle of the ball.

We’ve been underwhelmed with information about Belle and her past. She doesn’t seem to have any training, including toilet training, as she was previously an outside dog.

“Belle is very lively for her age — a young seven, some might say,” staff report. “She wants to go, go, go.” We think she’d also like to be gone, gone, gone from our Hobart Home.

Belle has not passed her unmuzzling assessment yet. We offer to work closely with new owners towards their Greyhound achieving the Dogs’ Homes orange collar, which means they are cleared to go out in public without a muzzle.

Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
