Volunteering Application
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Dogs’ Homes of Tasmania. Please complete the information below to help us finalise your application. Please note, applications are reviewed and accepted on an as need basis.
Essential Requirements
- Volunteer applicants must be physically fit, able to walk dogs (including large and untrained dogs) without any assistance or support from another person.
- If your application progresses, you will need to complete a volunteer induction session before joining our amazing volunteering community.
- Please make sure you have a photo of yourself for your photo ID ready to upload. This photo should be your head and shoulders only and not include other people or dogs. (jpg or png file format please).
- Volunteers must be 18 years or over.

We apologise for any inconvenience, but due to the incredible response and high number of volunteer enquiries we’ve recently received, we are temporarily pausing our volunteer enquiry form while we work through applications and complete volunteer inductions.
We are so grateful for the amazing support from our volunteers and the wonderful people wanting to get involved. Our volunteers play such an important role in supporting dogs and our community, and we truly couldn’t do what we do without them.
