Every year, Dogs’ Homes of Tasmania creates a calendar celebrating the incredible dogs adopted through our shelters—and the people who gave them a second chance. Last year we featured over 200 dogs, and we’d love to include yours too in 2027!
Complete the form below to enter your dog into our calendar next year. We’ll do our very best to feature as many dogs as possible. One special pup will also be selected as our 2027 Cover Dog. ✨
To keep the calendar focused on celebrating dogs currently enjoying their homes, we kindly ask that only dogs who are still with us are submitted. To feature in the calendar, the primary dog in the photo must have been adopted from one of our homes (in Burnie, Devonport, Launceston or Hobart).

For over two decades, our annual calendar has been a testament to love and a celebration of family.
Since its inception, our calendar has become more than just a collection of stunning photographs; it has become a living tribute to the remarkable dogs who have graced our lives and the hearts of those who have adopted them.
Each year, we invite members of our Dogs’ Homes of Tasmania family to submit photos of their beloved dogs, all of whom have found their forever homes through our organisation. It’s a competition in the sense that we choose a cover star, but in reality, every dog is a winner in our eyes. Every photograph tells a unique story of love, resilience, and second chances. When you look at these images, you don’t just see dogs; you see the embodiment of hope and the power of transformation.
Beyond this, the calendar helps Tasmanian dogs for the future. Every dollar raised from the sale of these calendars goes directly toward supporting the Dogs’ Homes that have been serving Tasmania for an incredible 75 years. It ensures that dogs in need receive critical medical care, support, and a chance to find new loving homes.
The calendar includes one spread for each month. The calendar is A4 in size and has drilled holes for easy hanging.
