If Boris were a human youngster, he’d be called “brave” and “inspiring”. But since Boris doesn’t know this, he just gets on with life — and life is something he’s full of.
“Boris is full of enthusiasm and has a constant tail wag,” staff say. “He is a unique young boy and has a clumsy but very cute walk about him. This doesn’t stop him wanting to get out and about to make new friends, humans or dogs.”
We suspect Boris was born with a neurological difference, so his brain didn’t quite develop in the “typical” way. Our vet has determined he’s not in any pain and is perfectly happy: he just walks a bit wonkily and is prone to the odd slip or trip. He will need some simple safety solutions in his forever home.
Boris likes to meet doggie friends but does not want to share his house with them, so he needs to be the solo dog in his new place. He’s also not suitable for a household with poultry.
Please ensure the below information, including the ‘please note’ section, is read in full if you are interested in viewing, meeting or adopting Boris.

Does your lifestyle and personality match Boris?
If you are interested in a dog, please make a booking to visit the Home where that dog is located. We can’t guarantee that a particular dog will still be available at the time of your visit, as adoptions occur throughout the day. Our team updates the website as quickly as possible.
Your booking is simply an allocated time to view all of the dogs, and it allows us to ensure staff are available should you wish to have a meet and greet with a particular dog.
Please remember that if you are interested in adopting on the day, all household members — including any existing dogs — must attend the appointment. It’s vital that the dog meets everyone and gets along with them, and that the whole household is ready to welcome a new family member.
Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
