Kraska is channelling her inner pirate — and a very pretty one too — with that cutsie patch over one eye. Arrrrrr!
“Kraska has a very soft and friendly nature,” staff say. She’s started some basic training and walks well with a harness. “She enjoys treats and games with toys.” Don’t we all?
“Her previous owners said she is very intelligent, especially as she has come from working bloodlines. She will need outlets to keep her active brain occupied.” And her active body. We recommend puppy preschool for Kraska, but if she’s deemed too “old” for your local puppy class, a beginner obedience course will do just as well.
Further to the whole training thang: “Her foster carer says she is very good at jumping and climbing onto items like tables, so a home that can provide activities such as agility training would make sense for her.” Krassie is fine to go to a home with another dog but shouldn’t have any other varieties of pets in her new place.
Please ensure the below information, including the ‘please note’ section, is read in full if you are interested in viewing, meeting or adopting Kraska.

Does your lifestyle and personality match Kraska?
If you are interested in a dog, please make a booking to visit the Home where that dog is located. We can’t guarantee that a particular dog will still be available at the time of your visit, as adoptions occur throughout the day. Our team updates the website as quickly as possible.
Your booking is simply an allocated time to view all of the dogs, and it allows us to ensure staff are available should you wish to have a meet and greet with a particular dog.
Please remember that if you are interested in adopting on the day, all household members — including any existing dogs — must attend the appointment. It’s vital that the dog meets everyone and gets along with them, and that the whole household is ready to welcome a new family member.
Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
