Living the life of Riley has never come in a more adorable, snuggly, chonky package. This Shar Pei-Staffy x has been in foster care where she’s had a grand old time playing with her carer’s dog. “Riley has gained so much confidence since being in our care and being in a foster home with another dog,” staff say, and her carer agrees.

“Riley is a sweet, confident girl who fitted in beautifully in a household with another similarly sized dog,” they say. “She will make a great, fun-loving addition to a family and would thrive in a home with another dog to play with.” We’re told she enjoys flopping on her back smack bang in the middle of playtime.

Riley didn’t get off the property in her previous home, which is why she took some time to build her confidence. She’ll need humans who understand that she might need gentle introductions to unfamiliar experiences in the wider world.

As Riley is currently staying with a foster carer, they are not located on site and will not be present if you visit. This includes if you book a visit or meeting via our online booking system. Riley will only be available to view or meet when prior arranged with our team over the phone.

Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
