Clarence City Council’s Draft Dog Management Policy

Under the Dog Control Act 2000, Councils are required to review their Dog Management Policy every five years.

Legislation requires that the review is advertised and consultation with the public and stakeholders is undertaken.

It is an opportunity for dog owners and the community at large to comment on issues that might arise, and changes that Councils may wish to make such as fees and access to public spaces.

This is the Dogs’ Homes of Tasmania submission to the current review by the Clarence City Council.
