Flash here looks like he could be singing the signature tune from the cheesy ’80s movie: “Flash! AH-AAAAHHHHH!” Or maybe he’s doing his best Brian Blessed impersonation: “He’s alive!” Our Flash is certainly alive with appeal.
Flash Gordon reminisces aside, this Labrador-Border Collie x is described by staff as “a playful and fun boy”. His Lab side comes to the fore with his passion for any body of water, a squirt with a garden hose or a splash in a kiddie pool. We think he might excel at dog sports like flyball, agility and/or scent work.
Ol’ Grandmaster Flash lived with another dog in his past life, so he might like a canine companion in his new home. He’s not suitable for a place where he can access livestock or wildlife.
Please ensure the below information, including the ‘please note’ section, is read in full if you are interested in viewing, meeting or adopting Flash.

Paw-fect match
Does your lifestyle and personality match Flash?
If you are interested in a dog, please make a booking to visit the Home where that dog is located. We can’t guarantee that a particular dog will still be available at the time of your visit, as adoptions occur throughout the day. Our team updates the website as quickly as possible.
Your booking is simply an allocated time to view all of the dogs, and it allows us to ensure staff are available should you wish to have a meet and greet with a particular dog.
Please remember that if you are interested in adopting on the day, all household members — including any existing dogs — must attend the appointment. It’s vital that the dog meets everyone and gets along with them, and that the whole household is ready to welcome a new family member.
Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
