Update: Chester is now taking a well deserved break in foster care. If you are interested in him you will need to use the link below to place an Expression of Interest

Gorgeous Chester is a 19 month old Mastiff X Bulldog (31.5kg). A friendly, happy fellow, Chester is housetrained and travels well in the car. He loves trips to the beach, and playing with his toys, and loves to put his paw up to say hi. He won't suit a home with cats.

Chester is in foster care through our Hobart Home. If you are interested in meeting him please use the link below to place an Expression of Interest. Please include as much information as you can about the home you can provide for sweet Chester.
Brains and beauty, this dashing fella is Buddy a 2 year Border Collie x. Smart as a whip he will thrive in a home where he is given something to do (may be a great agility/scent work dog).
Having been in foster care for a few weeks now, his foster carer has gotten to know Buddy well and couldn’t speak more highly of him. Toilet trained, walks well on lead, good social manners with people and dogs, picks up tricks and commands with ease and loves a good cuddle at the end of the day, his carer said he really is a beautiful dog.
Enrichment has been a great outlet for Buddy’s active mind during the day. He loves nothing more than sniffing around for treats, using his lickimat and delicately opening boxes to reveal what yummy treat lays inside. Although Buddy enjoys his daily adventures and enrichment, he also loves to find himself a nice spot in the sunshine to lay down and snooze.

Having had a bumpy start to life with a few ups and downs, Buddy came into us on anti-anxiety medication and was placed into foster care to taper down his dosage gradually. Buddy has continued to do extremely well in foster care on a lower dose. During this transitional period we are reluctant to stop this medication completely, so his new family will have to be willing to continue on with the medication and continue to reduce slowly.

Please consider the above before applying for Buddy. He is a lifetime commitment and deserves a family willing to give him the very best life. If you think you can provide Buddy the right home please click on the link below to place an Expression of Interest.
Update: We have closed Expressions of Interest for Dexter as we now have enough

Handsome and regal, 10 year old Dexter is looking for his retirement home. He would suit a nice, relaxed household with someone to keep him company during the day, or maybe even another doggo friend. Dexter’s foster carer has said that this beautiful boy is affectionate, enjoys his daily walks and most of all loves just hanging around at home with her. Being a German Shepherd Dexter will need someone willing to put effort into keeping his coat maintained and making sure he continues to get the best nutrition as he gets older.
Dexter will not suit a home that has farm/small animals.
Dexter is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and health checked. His adoption fee is $90. Dexter will be available for adoption through the foster care program. So if you are interested in meeting him, please use the link below to complete the Expression of Interest form (choose his name from the drop down list) giving us plenty of detail about yourself and the lifestyle you can provide for Dexter. A staff member from Hobart will call you to book an appointment if you are successful.
Introducing Bailey the Kelpie who is around 7 months old (18kg). A friendly and active boy, Bailey loves the company of his favourite hoomans, a game of fetch and even better, tug-o-war. He enjoys water play and chewing on his toys. To meet this young and playful boy, please use the link below to book a visit to our Hobart Home to meet available dogs- remember as dogs are adopted throughout the day we can't guarantee any particular dog will be there when you visit.
