Handsome Chevy is a two year old Bull Arab.

Chevy has been with us for a while now, and has been using his time working on his big dog manners so he's learned to greet people calmly, and to tell you he wants a cuddle by backing up against your legs.

He enjoys car rides and loves to watch the world go by from his yard. Chevy loves to play with other dogs, but he plays quite boisterously, so not all dogs will love playing with him. He'll be happy with the right doggie playmate, or as an only dog.

Chevy is a big athletic boy who needs good fences, and would probably not be suitable to live with chickens, cats or small animals.

If you are interested in meeting Chevy please use the link in this post to submit an Expression of Interest. Include as much detail as you can about the life you could provide him. Staff from our Hobart Home will contact those suitable to chat and arrange an appointment.

Gorgeous happy boy Jax is a 5 year old Labrador X Kelpie (26.5kg). A friendly dog who has lived happily with children, another dog, a cat (he was ok with the cat), and chickens whom he chased. He won't suit a place where he has access to wildlife or small livestock (you'll need careful introduction to a new cat). He loves car rides and trips to the beach. Jax has sadly been an outside boy but hopes in his new home he'll spend more time indoors and have a nice warm bed by the fire. He gets along well with other dogs, and may make a great running partner. Good tall fencing is a must to keep Jax safe and sound with you.
Meet Whiskers, a gorgeous 3 year old Malamute x Border Collie weighing 31.5kg
Whiskers has been an outside dog and has had little interaction with children or adults outside her family, so we are looking for a home without kids for Whiskers. She would be much happier with a quiet home where she can relax and slowly get used to the pleasures of being an inside dog.

Whiskers has been around chooks but thought they were great to chase and hasn’t interacted with any other small animals. Whiskers may suit a single dog home while she settles in, but a quiet doggy companion may work as well.
Whiskers is very much a water baby and enjoys a swim to cool down. Whiskers does love her attention and will ask for pats, play and treats, once getting to know you.

If you think you could provide the right home for Whiskers, follow the link below and fill out an expression of interest, making sure to select her name from the list. Please include as many details as possible about the home you could provide, staff will be reviewing the expressions of interest over the next few days and successful applications will receive a phone call to organise a meet. Please note Whiskers will only be available for meets if staff call, she wont be onsite for general appointments.
