Congratulations Richard Moore

Volunteer Richard Moore has been recognised with a KABTAS Community Kindness Award.

For the past 10 years Richard has been volunteering at the Hobart Dogs’ Home. He has undertaken dog walking, grounds work and maintenance.

Richard is a skilled tradesperson with a highly creative side. Having a volunteer with such skills as part of the team is invaluable. To top it off, Richard is a lovely bloke and fondly regarded by staff and dogs.

Volunteers like Richard are the jewels of the not-for-profit world.

The dog, new sponsorship board and garden are all part of Richard’s work.
Sometimes Richard gets CEO Michael Sertori to help.
From new fencing and gates.
To painting, woodwork and minor construction. Richard’s versatility knows no bounds.
