Boston

Boston

Please note: Boston is currently spending time in foster care which means that they will not be present when visiting your local Dogs’ Home.

Beautiful Boston is guaranteed to give you more than a feeling. Isn’t he a handsome old boy? He’s quite the poser, too.

He’s a Spaniel-Border Collie x who seems to be hard of hearing these days. “This lovely senior boy is a calm, gentle companion who is looking for a relaxed and loving home,” his foster carer says. “He enjoys peaceful walks, especially along the beach, and is happiest when he can be close to his people. With a settled nature and lovely manners, he’s the kind of dog who will quietly sit at your feet at a cafe or relax beside you while you go about your day.

“His hearing loss means he would suit a home where his people are nearby and able to communicate with him through routine, visual cues, and reassurance. In return, he offers steady companionship and a beautifully calm presence.” Wonderfully put!

Please ensure the below information, including the ‘please note’ section, is read in full if you are interested in viewing, meeting or adopting Boston.

Velcro dog: Deeply attached to their humans and always close by. Won’t enjoy being alone for long.

If you are interested in meeting or adopting Boston, please phone your local Dogs’ Home. Contact details for each of our locations can be found by clicking here.

As Boston is currently staying with a foster carer, they are not located on site and will not be present if you visit. This includes if you book a visit or meeting via our online booking system.  Boston will only be available to view or meet when prior arranged with our team over the phone.

Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
