Hattie

Hattie

Please note: Hattie is currently spending time in foster care which means that they will not be present when visiting your local Dogs’ Home.

Hattie is quite the striking young lady with her one ice-blue eye, and the report from her foster carer glows even brighter.

“Hattie is the perfect, unique puppy,” her carer says. “She is full of love and care, and wants to please. She’s highly intelligent and knows how to be kind and gentle.” That’s good news for her ongoing training.

She’s been great with her carer’s dog, and slotted in nicely with the family. “She is a gem,” her carer says. “She’s loveable and does get excited and jump, but she’s learning not to.” Her surrender form notes that she lived with teenagers in the past and although she  needs to learn to be more polite, her gentle side and love of learning means half that battle is won already.

As mentioned, we recommend further training for Hattie. A beginner obedience course will help cement what she already knows and provide a great bonding experience with her new family.

Please ensure the below information, including the ‘please note’ section, is read in full if you are interested in viewing, meeting or adopting Hattie.

If you are interested in meeting or adopting Hattie, please phone your local Dogs’ Home. Contact details for each of our locations can be found by clicking here.

As Hattie is currently staying with a foster carer, they are not located on site and will not be present if you visit. This includes if you book a visit or meeting via our online booking system.  Hattie will only be available to view or meet when prior arranged with our team over the phone.

Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
