With those fabulous ears, lovely Luna looks like she should be rendered in paint on the wall of an Egyptian tomb somewhere. This stunning girl is a German Shepard-Kelpie-Heeler x. And if your dog needs company, she’s the right lady for you — she must go to a home where she has a canine companion.

We’re told she knows a few basic commands and is toilet trained, and staff have noted that she keeps her pen clean overnight. “Luna’s a sweet, snuggly girl who loves to be close to you,” staff say, and her notes say she likes to solicit attention from everyone she meets. “She likes to play with her toys and in a kiddie clam-shell pool.”

Luna is so fond of people, she can become a little overwhelmed by her excitement when meeting them. She would benefit from a beginner training course to help her learn to keep all four paws on the ground. As a mix of brainy and agile breeds she will need plenty of exercise and intellectual stimulation.

As Luna is currently staying with a foster carer, they are not located on site and will not be present if you visit. This includes if you book a visit or meeting via our online booking system. Luna will only be available to view or meet when prior arranged with our team over the phone.

Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
