Lupin

Lupin

Please note: Lupin is currently spending time in foster care which means that they will not be present when visiting your local Dogs’ Home.

Introducing Professor Lupin, the most beloved Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (after Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, of course).

Lupin was a stray so we don’t know if she’s even heard of Hogwarts. Staff say she doesn’t seem to have had much in the way of training but is toilet trained. “Lupin is a delightful young dog — gentle, affectionate and friendly,” her foster carer says. “She loves playing with toys and keeps me entertained with her playful antics.”

“Lupin enjoys zoomies and loves to sleep in the sun, and she enjoys the company of other dogs too.” She might like a canine companion to lead the way in her new home. As mentioned, she hasn’t had much in the way of training and would benefit from a beginner obedience course.

Please ensure the below information, including the ‘please note’ section, is read in full if you are interested in viewing, meeting or adopting Lupin.

If you are interested in meeting or adopting Lupin, please phone your local Dogs’ Home. Contact details for each of our locations can be found by clicking here.

As Lupin is currently staying with a foster carer, they are not located on site and will not be present if you visit. This includes if you book a visit or meeting via our online booking system.  Lupin will only be available to view or meet when prior arranged with our team over the phone.

Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
