We tend to always use our smiley-est photo for our dogs’ main pictures, and Patchy is no exception. But you simply simply MUST click through to his profile to see some of the best enigmatic smiles since the Mona Lisa.

He’s in foster care where he’s been mucking about with his toys and enjoying games of fetch. “Once settled in, he has been playing like a puppy,” his carer says. “He would suit having another dog in his new home for company. He does need more ongoing training.” His carer says he’s food driven so that means treats will help out on the obedience front.

Patchy is still more of a pup than a teenager and can forget his manners when he gets excited, although he’s settled more while in foster care. Until he gets more training under his belt — we recommend a beginner course — he needs to go to a home with children aged 12 years and older.

As Patchy is currently staying with a foster carer, they are not located on site and will not be present if you visit. This includes if you book a visit or meeting via our online booking system. Patchy will only be available to view or meet when prior arranged with our team over the phone.

Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
