Do you want to live life in super high definition? Pixel could be the man for you. Pix was a stray who we think is a Kelpie x. “He’s a happy-go-lucky dog with a tail that doesn’t stop wagging,” staff say. “He enjoys sniffing around and loves his treats.”

He’s in foster care where his carers have discovered he likes to collect his toys and keep them on his bed. And he’s been known to let loose with some cries while playing with his toys — how very endearing! He also likes looking out of windows and watching the world go by.

“He is a very gentle and well-behaved dog and will be perfect for a family that can help him use all his energy up,” his carers say. As a working dog breed, Pix will need plenty of exercise and intellectual stimulation.

As Pixel is currently staying with a foster carer, they are not located on site and will not be present if you visit. This includes if you book a visit or meeting via our online booking system. Pixel will only be available to view or meet when prior arranged with our team over the phone.

Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
