Believe it or not, Ripley here is just the fellow to have on hand in case you encounter an alien keen on a spot of face sucking.
“Ripley is a sweet, friendly boy who needs to gain more confidence,” staff say. “Luckily he enjoys treats and pats.” He lived quite a sheltered life in his previous home and didn’t get out at all or meet any people. “He has lived with a few dogs in his previous life so has more experience with dogs than people.”
However, he’s been in foster care where his fabulous carer helped to bring him out of his shell. “Ripley is beautiful,” his carer says. “Once I gained his trust he became super loving, affectionate and playful. He seemed mostly drawn to my seven-year-old daughter.” Awww, Ripley!

Does your lifestyle and personality match Ripley?
If you are interested in a dog, please make a booking to visit the Home where that dog is located. We can’t guarantee that a particular dog will still be available at the time of your visit, as adoptions occur throughout the day. Our team updates the website as quickly as possible.
Your booking is simply an allocated time to view all of the dogs, and it allows us to ensure staff are available should you wish to have a meet and greet with a particular dog.
Please remember that if you are interested in adopting on the day, all household members — including any existing dogs — must attend the appointment. It’s vital that the dog meets everyone and gets along with them, and that the whole household is ready to welcome a new family member.
Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
