Due to a confirmed case of parvovirus on site, Burnie Dogs’ Home is temporarily closed to all incoming and outgoing dogs while we take necessary precautions to protect the health and safety of every dog in our care.
This means we are currently unable to accept surrenders or stray dogs at this location.
If you have a dog you need to surrender, or you have found a stray dog, we kindly ask that you contact Central Coast Council to arrange drop-off. Their number is 03 6429 8900.
Our team is working closely to manage the situation and will reopen intake as soon as it is safe to do so. We understand this may be difficult and appreciate your patience and support as we prioritise the wellbeing of all dogs.
