Blossie’s story could have ended in tragedy. But with the support of our community, it didn’t. She got the care she urgently needed. She survived. She found love. All the thanks the kindness of people like you. 
For over 70 years, Dogs’ Homes of Tasmania has provided a safe haven for lost, abandoned, and surrendered dogs. Across our four homes in Hobart, Devonport, Launceston, and Burnie, we care for about 3,000 dogs each year. Yet, as a charity, we rely on the support of dog lovers like you to continue this vital work. We receive no government funding.
Adoption and service fees alone don’t cover the medical costs for dogs like Blossie, who need round the clock care to have a second chance at life.
Your donation is crucial in helping us bridge this gap, allowing us to upgrade essential equipment, stock life-saving medications, and be ready to respond to the needs of every dog that comes into our care.
