Despite his serious expression, Zeusy is quite the loosey goosey whose favourite lounging pose is on his back, legs akimbo.

His mum is Staffy-Shar Pei x and dad a Bull Mastiff x — so we expect Zeus to be a big boy when fully grown. He’s already quite the hunk of burning love. He’s been in foster care where the word is he’s convinced he’s a lap dog despite his size.

“Zeus is so special, so kind natured,” his carer says. “He’s a soft, loveable boofhead: a massive cuddle bug who lies on you constantly. He loves his belly being rubbed and loves human interaction. His name should be Shadow as he follows me everywhere. He was great with my kids and other dogs.” He might like a canine companion to lead the way in his new home.

We always strongly recommend puppy preschool for all our children. Zeus may be too old for his local preschool, but a beginner obedience course will serve him just as well, continuing his training and socialisation journey.

As Zeus is currently staying with a foster carer, they are not located on site and will not be present if you visit. This includes if you book a visit or meeting via our online booking system. Zeus will only be available to view or meet when prior arranged with our team over the phone.

Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
