“Zeus has a heart (toy) too big to keep to himself!” one of our foster care gurus jokes. “He wants nothing more than to share the love.” And he certainly looks like he has plenty of love to dollop out.
Also known as Mr “Draw Me Like One of Your French Girls”, glorious Zeus does a splendid line in cute poses. He’s a Staffy-Bulldog x who has been in foster care getting some basic training. “Zeus is a super sweet, snuggly and smoochy boy,” our foster care co-ordinator says. “He just wants to cuddle with people or dogs all the time. He slept on his carer’s bed.”
Zeusy loved playtime and snuggles with his carer’s dog, and when they decided playtime was over, he was very respectful of their wishes. Nice! He also learned not to chase the cat — after the cat stood its ground. Wise move. Zeus will need ongoing training. He might be too “old” for your local puppy preschool but a beginner obedience course would do just as well.
Please ensure the below information, including the ‘please note’ section, is read in full if you are interested in viewing, meeting or adopting Zeus.

Does your lifestyle and personality match Zeus?
If you are interested in a dog, please make a booking to visit the Home where that dog is located. We can’t guarantee that a particular dog will still be available at the time of your visit, as adoptions occur throughout the day. Our team updates the website as quickly as possible.
Your booking is simply an allocated time to view all of the dogs, and it allows us to ensure staff are available should you wish to have a meet and greet with a particular dog.
Please remember that if you are interested in adopting on the day, all household members — including any existing dogs — must attend the appointment. It’s vital that the dog meets everyone and gets along with them, and that the whole household is ready to welcome a new family member.
Please note:
• Rental agreements allowing dogs will be required for adoption into rental properties.
• Before adopting a dog, all members of your household must attend a meet and greet with the dog (including small children and existing dogs).
• Whilst the website is live and updates frequently, there is a chance that when you arrive a dog may already have been adopted by some-one else. Sorry, but we cannot put dogs on hold over the phone. You need to meet them first so that we can ensure a suitable match.
• While our Homes are open, not every dog available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. You will notice some dogs are listed as ‘foster care’. This means that they are offsite with one of our amazing foster carers. If you are interested in this dog, please contact the Home directly to discuss suitability and a possible meet.
